They weren’t crowned Iowa State Fair Queen, but a pair of County Fair Queens from North Iowa were among the top contestants.
Floyd County Fair Queen Jada Litterer was named third runner-up Saturday (08.10) night in Des Moines, while Franklin County Fair Queen Libby Trewin was selected for the “personality plus” honor. This year’s Iowa State Fair Queen is Elli Blackford from Clarke County.
Other county fair queens who also competed included Chickasaw County’s Emma Brincks, Butler County’s Erika Brinkman, Fayette County’s Mae Wedemeier, Howard County’s Addie Issacson, and Mitchell County’s Emma Schipper.
