Floyd County Conservations Hosts Youth Hunter Education, Outdoor Movie Saturday (08.17)

Floyd County Conservation will host a Youth Hunter’s Education course during the day and an Outdoor Movie at night this Saturday (08.17) at the Fossil and Prairie Prairie Park Reserve near Rockford.

Naturalist Heidi Reams says hunter’s ed runs from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Registration for the course can be completed at www.mycountyparks.com.

Reams says blankets, lawn chairs, and maybe some bug spray are recommended for Outdoor Movie night.

Reams adds that it’s a great time for a family outing.
