Charles City Police Chief Hugh Anderson joined the morning show on Thursday (9/5/24) for Community Conversations in which he spoke the severe weather damage and the cleanup that continues, 11th Ave Bike Trail extension, Main Street construction updates and rental registrations. The new Charles City Fire Chief Sam Deverell also joined the show to talk about his background, a few upcoming events and reminders.

He lives in Charles City with his endlessly patient wife Vicki and their kids, Brynlee and Jaxon, who have already perfected the art of the eye‑roll every time Dad cracks another “dad joke.”
