#3 Nashua-Plainfield at #6 St. Ansgar for High School Football Friday (09.27)

A Class A top five, high school football matchup Friday (09.27) night pits number 3 Nashua-Plainfield at 5th-ranked Saint Ansgar. 

Nashua-Plainfield head coach Chase Sudol says the Huskies defense will need a group effort against a balanced Saint Ansgar offense.

Saint Ansgar coach Drew Clevenger says their defense has to be ready for a Huskies rushing attack that averages 350 yards a game.

Clevenger says he’s more concerned with his team’s improvement than the hype around the game.

Sudol agrees, but also says these are the games you play for.

It’s also Homecoming for Saint Ansgar.

The game can be heard on 95.9 KCHA, with pregame coverage starting with the Radio Iowa Scouting Report at 6:30 pm and kickoff at 7 pm.
