The New Hampton Lions Club will host their 13th annual one-day Scrap Metal Fundraiser this Saturday (09.28).
The club’s Jim Kiffel says metal items will be accepted from 8 am to 2 pm in the parking lot of LS Supply on the south edge of New Hampton.
Kiffel adds that prior arrangements can be made for the collection of larger items. He says there are some items they will not accept.

The Charles City Rotary Club also kicks off their annual Scrap Metal Fundraiser on Saturday, with donations accepted at Tynan’s Recycling in Charles City through Saturday, October 5th. Pickup of items is also available within city limits by calling 641-228-1753.
