Minnesota Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Wreck in North Iowa

A Minnesota man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in North Iowa Sunday (10.13) afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol (ISP) says 33-year-old Samuel Poquette of New Ulm, Minnesota, was driving a car south on I-35, near the 208 exit ramp in Worth County, when he lost control of the vehicle, which then went into the median, through the cable barrier and struck a bridge pillar. Poquette was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Worth County Sheriff’s Office, Kensett Fire Department, Northwood Fire and Ambulance, and the Worth County Medical Examiner also assisted at the scene.
