Charles City VFW Post 3914 Hosts Veterans Dance Saturday (11.09) Night

This Monday (11.11) is Veterans Day.

That’s Denny Hull, commander of VFW Post #3914 in Charles City, who says they’ll start the recognition early with a Veterans Dance this Saturday (11.09) night.

Festivities also include a free will donation meal at 5 pm, a short program at 6 pm, and the Beaver Creek Band playing from 7 to 10 pm. There will also be specials on military-themed drinks.

An Army and National Guard veteran, Hall says he was deployed twice—both on Veterans Day—-heading for Vietnam in 1970 and the Gulf War in 1990.

The dance and the VFW is open to the public.
