Charles City Church to Hand Out 100 Free Thanksgiving Meals Saturday (11.23)

A Charles City church is helping families in need in advance of Thanksgiving.

Calvary Baptist Church is giving away 100 free Thanksgiving dinners to 100 families on Saturday (11.23). Each dinner, one per family, includes a 10-pound turkey and all the fixings.

Those interested are advised to reserve your free dinner in advance by calling 641-228-5362. Otherwise, meals will be handed out Saturday between 10 am and 1 pm on a first-come-first-served basis while they last.
