Comets “Glow Rally” for Charles City High School Winter Sports Teams Monday (11.25) Night

In a showcase of Charles City High School winter sports teams, the “Comets Glow Rally” begins at 7 pm Monday (11.25) in Comet Gym at the Middle School.

The successor to the “Black and Orange Blowout,” the ‘glow-in-the-dark pep rally incorporates black lights to help illuminate the gym with surreal colors. Fans are encouraged to wear their neon colors and bring their favorite glow-in-the-dark accessories.

Members of the Charles City boys and girls basketball, bowling and wrestling programs will be formally introduced and featured in various scrimmages and skill-displaying exhibitions.

The event kicks off with crowd-engaging activities led by the Charles City Spirit Team followed by a performance by the Charles City Dance Arts Center.

Attendance is free, but fans are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to help support the local food pantry.
