Charles City Community Fund Welcomes “Giving Tuesday” Donations

One could consider the Charles City Community Fund a “one stop” destination for your “Giving Tuesday” (12.03) donation.

That’s the Community Fund’s Mike McCarty, who says that, while the bulk of the money they distribute comes from public contributions, they are also active with their own fundraising events.

McCarty says the Charles City Community Fund passed out some $35,000 to 20 different, local non-profits last year. This year’s goal is to raise $40,000.
