New Hampton Police Launch “Random Acts of Kindness” for Holiday Season

New Hampton Police are looking to “catch people in the act” — and spread some holiday cheer.

In a department Facebook post, Chief Conrad Rosendahl says the NHPD has received an anonymous donation of several New Hampton small business gift cards, which officers will use to recognize citizens performing “Random acts of Kindness.”

During the campaign this holiday season, Rosendahl say if a New Hampton Police officer catches you performing a random act of kindness, they may be rewarding you with one of those local business gift cards. The NHPD may also hand out a gift cart with a random traffic stop.

If you are blessed to receive this act of kindness, you’re welcome to keep it for yourself or you can pass it on to another person as a random act of kindness.

Rosendahl says, “It will be interesting to see just how many people this generous donation can positively affect this holiday season.”
