Santa Coming to Charles City’s Central Park, New Hampton’s Mikkelson Park Saturday (12.07)

Santa Claus returns this weekend to Charles City’s Central Park. 

St. Nick will be at the Santa House from 12:30 to 2:30 pm Saturday (12.07) afternoon as part of Santa’s Shining Lights display. He will return to the Santa House from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday, December 14th and 15th. 

Mrs. Claus will be in the Santa House from 4 to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday, December 21st and 22nd, reading stories and giving out treats, while Santa hosts wagon rides coordinated by Main Street Charles City.

Children may also leave Letters to Santa by depositing them through the mail slot on the Santa House door. Letters with return addresses will be mailed a postcard from Santa’s Workshop letting them know their letters have been received.

In New Hampton Saturday, Dee McGrath with Little Light of Mine says Santa arrives at Mikkelson Park at 5 pm.

McGrath adds there will also be free cookies and hot chocolate during Santa’s visit Saturday.
