Floyd County Medical Center Host Orthopedic Surgery Robot Demonstration Tuesday (12.10)

Floyd County Medical Center (FCMC) will host a special demonstration of its new orthopedic surgery robot Tuesday (12.10) evening.
FCMC’s new Stryker Mako Robot will be featured in a live presentation in the Veterans Room from 6 to 7 pm. This event is free and open to the public, but those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP to Makenzie McNeill, director of marketing, by calling 641-257-5513 or email [email protected].
Led by Dr. Jeffrey Clark, FCMC’s new visiting orthopedic surgeon, and representatives from Stryker, this innovative and cutting-edge piece of equipment is now available at FCMC. According to FCMC, Dr. Clark is the currently the only surgeon in northeast Iowa using the Mako Robot for the direct anterior approach to hip replacement.
If you’re living with chronic knee, hip, or joint pain, or dealing with the effects of arthritis or a sports injury, FCMC says this event is for you. Learn about how Dr. Clark and the Stryker Robot can help you get back to the active lifestyle that you want.
Some food and refreshments will be available while supplies last.
