After Reaching 2024 Goal, Christmas Cheer Fund Aims Higher in 2025

Even though over 1900 North Iowans have received some sort of assistance from the 2024 Christmas Cheer Fund, it does not mean that you can’t make a difference and donate to the cause.
As of December 24th, donors had contributed over $121,000 to the Cheer Fund, surpassing this year’s goal of $100,000. Still, organizers are already thinking ahead to helping serve people in 2025.
Board member Cori Frein says, “We know that there is an even greater need out there and we want to help as many people as we can. Any donations that are given through December 31st, that’s our deadline for receiving donations, but any donations that are received are going to just get us that much further to kick starting what we hope to be is an increase in our goal in 2025.”
Mail in donations to Christmas Cheer Fund, PO Box 28, Mason City, IA 50402. Donation information is also available at www.christmascheerfund.org.
The Cheer Fund provides assistance to families in Floyd, Mitchell, Cerro Gordo, Franklin, Worth, Hancock and Winnebago counties.
