Charles City Wrestling to “Pack-the-Gym” Thursday (01.16) Night Against New Hampton
Last month, it was “Pack-The-Gym Night” for the Charles City High School basketball teams as they hosted New Hampton.
This Thursday (01.16) night, it’s the Comet wrestling teams turn for their matchups with the Chickasaws, according to Charles City girls wrestling coach Rob Pittman.
In addition to free admission for all students from both schools. Hy-Vee will be donating a meal for ALL students to eat for FREE. Adults meals will be $8 as a fundraiser for the Comet Booster Club. The concession stand will be limited to drinks, popcorn and candy.
It’s also Senior Night for Charles City seniors like Trevor Carolan, who’s in first season of wrestling.
Pittman says wrestling will start at 6:15 pm Thursday night.
