Protect Pets, Livestock in Cold, Frigid Weather

The arctic blast in recent days has been hard on humans and animals alike.

Chickasaw County Sheriff Ryan Shawver says pets and livestock need protection for the extreme cold as much as people.

And don’t forget drinking water.

Shawver adds that his department sees an increase in calls from citizens concerned about the welfare of pets and other animals during extreme cold.
