Waterloo 18-Year-Old Facing Over Half-Dozen Counts for Sexual Abuse of Minors

A Northeast Iowa 18-year-old is facing more than a half-dozen felony charges after he was accused of sexually abusing three minors.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) says Isaiah Yos-Eddy of Waterloo turned himself in on Friday (01.17). He was wanted on an arrest warrant charging him with eight counts of second-degree sex abuse of a child under 12, which are Class B felonies.
According to court documents, a Health and Human Services (HHS) Child and Adult Protective Worker contacted WCSO in May 2024 to investigate a report of child sexual abuse. A trio of child victims, all under 12-years-old, made statements to their parents of multiple incidents of sex abuse by Yos-Eddy in Decorah.
Further investigation led to an interview with Yos-Eddy, when he allegedly admitted to engaging in illicit contact with the children several times a week from 2019 to 2023.
Yos-Eddy, who turned 18 on January 9th, is being held in the Winneshiek County Jail on $50,000 cash or surety bond.
He is due for a preliminary hearing Monday (01.27) in Winneshiek County District Court.
