Law enforcement agencies across Iowa are encouraging Super Bowl fans to “Be a Team Player, Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk” this Sunday (02.09).
Charles City Police Chief Hugh Anderson says his department will be among several participating in the latest Special Traffic Enforcement Program or sTEP.
Anderson also notes some “sobering” statistics.
Other local law enforcement agencies also “stepping” up their vigilance for impaired driving this Super Bowl Sunday include the New Hampton Police Department and the Chickasaw and Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Offices.
