Yesway To Sell Mason City, Rockford Stores, Others
A convenience store chain, with over a half-dozen locations in north Iowa, has announced they intend to sell their 30 of their stores in Iowa and Kansas to new owners by the end of the year.
Brookwood Financial Partners acquired 21 convenience stores in Iowa and later the company rebranded itself as Yesway. The company then acquired Allsup’s 304 convenience stores and has put a significant amount of emphasis on growing in the southwestern part of the country rather than in the Midwest.
The company told the industry website “C-Store Dive” that they are focused on building the best network of store locations to meet the needs of their valued customers and that the Iowa and Kansas stores don’t match the company’s strategy.
Yesway has three stores in Mason City along with other north-central Iowa locations in Rockford, Kanawha, Belmond, Clarion and Swea City.
