Final building tour tonight prior to Central Springs PPEL vote next week

The Central Springs Community School District will host its final building tour Tuesday (02.25) night in advance of a Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) election next week.
Residents of the district are being asked to approve a PPEL levy of $1.34 per $1000 of taxable property value blended with an 8% income surtax. School district officials say it will raise the tax rate an estimated 35-cents per $1000.
School Board president Jean Schilling in a social media post says the levy would generate about $600,000 a year for a 10-year period.
The last building tour at the Central Springs’ campus in Manly begins at 6:15 pm Tuesday night.
The PPEL measure will be voted on next Tuesday, March 4th.
