Floyd County Medical Center (FCMC) hosted its first-ever fundraising gala Friday (02.21) night at the Floyd County Fairgrounds.
That’s FCMC CEO Dawnette Willis reflecting on the celebration of the Charles City hospital’s 60th anniversary, which officially occurred on February 10th.
Makenzie McNeil, FCMC Director of Marketing and Community Engagement, says the event was a half-year in the making.
The “black tie affair” featured live and silent auctions, fine dining, and “Black Tie Bingo.”
Organizers say over 230 advance-only tickets at $100 each were sold for the gala.
