SYou don’t have to be a leprechaun to march through downtown Charles City this weekend.
Organizer Tonya Nosbisch recently addressed the City Council on the return of the 25th, first-ever Saint Patrick’s Parade.
Saturday’s (03.15) parade route in Charles City begins at 1 pm, stepping off from Hot Shots, then to North Main to Blunt Street to North Jackson to Clark Street and returning to Hot Shots.
The parade will be led by Miss Shamrock Amanda McCarty and Little Miss Shamrock Reese Patrie, and will also feature the Drouthy Duck Band.
The event has been on hiatus since the onset of the COVID pandemic in 2020.
There is no fee to enter the parade.
