A Northeast Iowa man is dead after crashing his truck over the weekend.
The Iowa State Patrol says the single-vehicle wreck occurred about 5:30 pm Saturday (03.22) northeast of Cresco. According to the crash report, 38-year-old Tyler Johnson of Cresco was driving a Ford F150 north on Valley Avenue when the pickup struck the east bridge guardrail as Johnson was crossing Silver Creek Bridge.
The truck then rolled before coming to a stop on its driver’s side facing northeast, killing Johnson in the crash.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
