Former employees are invited to take a nostalgic look back during an informal get-together Tuesday (04.01) morning at Dave’s Restaurant in Charles City.
Dick Neal, who worked at the plant from 1962 to 1985, says last year’s reunion was a hit, so they’re doing it again.
Neal adds it doesn’t matter how long you worked at the plant, you’re welcomed and encouraged to join in.
The Oliver/White Farm reunion at Dave’s starts at 8 am Tuesday morning, with a tentative end time of 10:30 am, though there’s no hard wrap up time.
At its height of operation, the Charles City tractor plant sprawled across 23 acres and employed almost 3,000 people.
