Charles City High School 2025 Prom “A Night of Gold & Glamour” Saturday (05.03)

It’s Prom Weekend for Charles City High School (CCHS).

Prom Queen candidates include Marissa Avelar, Savannah Baldus, Koryn Osier, Kaity Heckers, and Kylie Parsons.

Prom King candidates include Carter Haberkorn, Jackson Ruzicka, Logan Knap, Keaton Ross, and Toriq Satrio.

CCHS Prom festivities, under the them, “A Night of Gold & Glamour,” include the Grand March at 2 pm Saturday (05.03) in Comet Gym at the Middle School. Admission is $2 with proceeds going towards prom costs. The dance is from 8:30 to 11:30 pm at the Youth Enrichment Center on the Floyd County Fairgrounds.

Post-prom activities will be hosted in Comet Gym.

In the midst of “prom season,” Iowa State Patrol Trooper Tom Williams urges students to make smart driving decisions to and from prom activities.

Williams adds that drinking and driving should always be off the table since students are not of legal drinking age.
