Debra Ann Gifford, 70, of Charles City

Debra Ann Gifford passed away peacefully on May 2nd at her home.

Born on June 8th, 1954 in Mason City, IA to Robert and Dorothy Gifford. Debra was a kind, giving, generous woman known for her unwavering support of family and friends. She was a loving mother to Missy (Tom) Bucknell, Jeremy (Amber) Deverell, Nick (Alesha) Zeien and a cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 2.

Debra is survived by her siblings Michelle Ferch, Bob Gifford Jr., and Cindy North.

She had spent her life working various jobs from healthcare to production work, her favorite being jewelry department manager at K-mart. Debra’s hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, going to church, gardening, diamond art, and playing Rummy.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on May 8th at 11:00 AM at The Bridge Church in Charles City, IA.

When he’s not busy butchering ‘80s power ballads, Chris enjoys starting overly ambitious home projects that rarely make it past the “great idea” stage. He lives in Charles City with his endlessly patient wife Vicki and their kids, Brynlee and Jaxon, who have already perfected the art of the eye‑roll every time Dad cracks another “dad joke.”
