VFW Post 3914 Clothing Drive; Community Rallies for Free Clothing and Memorial Day Support

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS BROUGHT TO YOU BY FLOYD COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER:

Patrick Lumley & Denny Hull from Charles City VFW Post 3914 shared updates on their thriving citywide clothing drive during Community Conversations, sponsored by Floyd County Medical Center. In its third week, the drive has amassed over 40 tubs of adult clothing. Free shopping is available to everyone, with hours on Thursday, May 15, from 11 AM to 7 PM, coinciding with a Restore Independent Mobility presentation and food from Janie’s Heart Attack Shack. The VFW also called for volunteers to assist with flag placement at cemeteries on May 23 for Memorial Day.
