In today’s Community Conversation, Charles City City Administrator Steve Diers announced he’s leaving for Clear Lake’s City Administrator role, starting July 7. Reflecting on his time here, Diers shared updates on key projects: City Hall renovations are progressing, the Collective on 13th housing project breaks ground soon, and the $1M swimming pool upgrade opens Memorial Day. He also discussed trail improvements, railroad crossing upgrades, and a new downtown parklet.
