Public’s Assistance No Longer Requested for Missing Chickasaw County Man

The public’s assistance is no longer requested in the case of a Chickasaw County man, reported missing Sunday (05.19) night.
A Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Facebook post, shortly before 9 pm Sunday night, said 78-year-old Donald Henry Fisher had been reported missing. At the time, Fisher was last seen about 11:30 am on Friday (05.16) driving a 2000 white Buick LeSabre with Iowa license OOG 676. He was wearing a Veterans hat, blue Veterans zip up sweatshirt and blue jeans. It was noted that Fisher has dementia and can get confused while driving.
Shortly before 2:30 am Sunday, an update from Sheriff Ryan Shawver thanked “everyone that shared their post as well as called in to report any leads. The public’s assistance is no longer needed in this matter. We will continue to update the public as we investigate this matter further.”
