It’s National EMS Week May 18-24.
Carly Sedivy with Chickasaw County EMS says it’s a time to recognize emergency medical personnel who are always at the ready.
Sedivy says they’re also educating younger people about what they do.
The public can also learn more during the Chickasaw County EMS Open House in New Hampton Thursday (05.22) evening from 5 to 7 pm. There will be food, games for all ages, door prizes and a chance to meet your local EMS team and tour the ambulance.
