Update: North Iowa Motorcyclist Killed After Struck by Semi Identified

A North Iowa woman is dead after her motorcycle was struck by a semi Wednesday (06.04) morning near Charles City.
The Iowa State Patrol (ISP) says the wreck occurred near mile marker 211 on US Highway 18 East, shortly after 9 am. ISP says the motorcycle pulled out into the path of the semi, causing the fatal collision.
The operator of the motorcycle has been identified as 66-year-old Ruby Golnick of Garner, who died at the scene. The 24-year-old driver of the semi, identified only as Navneet, is from Caledon, Ontario Canada.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, Charles City Police, Floyd Fire Department and AMR Ambulance also responded to the scene.
