High School Principal Has High Praise for Retiring Superintendent Jurrens

Though he officially retires June 30th, Monday (06.16) is the final day on the job for New Hampton-Turkey Valley shared Superintendent Jay Jurrens.
New Hampton High School Principal Matt Manson lauds Jurrens as a stabilizing force over his 13 years at New Hampton.
Manson says that leadership is also evidenced in school district staff.
Mason says Jurrens’ influence also extends beyond school.
Jurrens has been the shared Superintendent with the Turkey Valley School District for the past eight years.
Jurrens will participate in his final New Hampton School Board meeting Monday evening at 6 pm in the High School FCS Room.
Erik Smith officially takes over as the new shared superintendent for the two school districts starting July 1st.
