Charles City Kids Day Set for July 3 with Parade, Games, Magic Show and Community Fun

In this Community Conversations interview, Aubrey Zajic from First Citizens Bank shares all the details for the 2025 Kids Day celebration happening July 3rd in Central Park, Charles City. Families can look forward to a full day of fun starting with parade registration at 10:00 AM, followed by a kids parade at 10:30 AM, free games, $3 lunches from McDonald’s, and a special magic show by Eric Michaels sponsored by Quality Auto Service. The festivities continue throughout the community with $2.50 bowling at Comet Bowl, $2.50 mini golf at Bayou Bend, free swimming at Lions Field Pool, and even a special Mermaid Story Hour at the pool. This year also included a new coloring contest for kids K-4, with winners receiving gift cards and free kids’ meals.
