...SIGNIFICANT BLOWING SNOW AND BLIZZARD CONDITIONS MAY OCCUR
TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING...

.Very strong winds will develop Tuesday evening with the
strong wind gusts persisting into Wednesday morning. Wind gusts over
50 mph are expected. Much of the area has 6 inches or more of snow
on the ground. While there may be an initial crust on the top layer
of the snow, it will erode quickly leading to significant blowing and
drifting of snow. Near white-out and blizzard conditions may occur.

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions possible. Light snow and snow showers
are possible. Winds gusts over 50 mph are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northeast, northwest,
and west central Iowa.

* WHEN...From late Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Whiteout conditions are
possible and may make travel treacherous and potentially nearly
impossible and life-threatening. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Wednesday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down
tree branches.

Instructions: Prepare for possible blizzard conditions. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.

James (Jim) David Dunston, Jr., 67 of Clarksville, formerly of Charles City

James (Jim) David Dunston, Jr., 67 of Clarksville, formerly of Charles City, passed away Thursday, June 5, at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at their acreage in Clarksville-Saturday, September 6.

Jim was born October 22, 1957 in Washington, IA to Ruth (Bradshaw) and Jim Dunston, Sr. Jim was married to Margaret Piazza, September 2, 1995.

Jim graduated from CCCH in 1976. While in high school Jim excelled in wrestling and football. After graduation, Jim served in the Navy as a submarine specialist. After the Navy, Jim lived on the East coast where he received a degree in HVAC. Jim later moved back to Charles City to be closer to family. He worked for CUNA (TruStage) in Waverly, Young Plumbing and Heating in Waterloo and FM Controls in Fort Dodge. Jim, also, studied to be a pastor and performed many church services and marriages in the area. Prior to failing health, Jim enjoyed many fishing trips to Minnesota and Canada and hanging out with family and friends.

Jim is survived by his wife Margaret, his children J.D. Dunston, III and Melissa Dunston, his siblings Pat (Ken) Presse, Barb (Ron) Balik, and Bob Dunston, his brother and sister-in-law Catherine (Leonard) Upham and John (Connie) Garner, and his daughter-in-law Erica Piazza. Many nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Ruth Dunston, mother-in-law and father-in-law Edna and Clayton Garner, and step-son John Piazza.
