Public Can Help Plan FCMC’s 2026 Community Fundraiser
The first-ever black tie fundraising gala hosted by Floyd County Medical Center (FCMC) in March also celebrated the hospital’s 60th anniversary in Charles City.
That’s Makenzie McNeill, FCMC director of marketing, who says they’re enlisting extra help in planning their next event.
Possible themes with the public survey include casino night, masquerade ball, and Kentucky Derby. There’s also an “other” option to submit your own idea. The survey can be accessed at www.fcmc.us.com and is open through July 15th.
McNeill says FCMC is also soliciting RFPs (request for proposal) for catering and photography services to partner with for the 2026 fundraiser. Interested vendors are asked to contact McNeill by July 31st.

*FCMC is inviting the community to participate in two initiatives for the event:
- Vote on the theme/event
- The community is invited to cast their vote on the kind of event they want to see for next year
- They can vote here until July 15: https://forms.office.com/r/bGjneJxsCx
- RFPs (request for proposal) for catering and photography services
- We partnered with many wonderful vendors for the 2025 gala!
- We would like to extend the opportunity to as many local businesses as possible who may be interested in partnering with us for the 2026 fundraiser.
- Interested parties are invited to contact Makenzie McNeill by July 31.
