United Way’s Kicks for Kids Campaign Returns to Help Area Children Start the School Year on the Right Foot
United Way of North Central Iowa is once again hosting its annual Kicks for Kids shoe drive, aimed at providing new athletic shoes to children across the region just in time for the new school year.
Community members are encouraged to donate new children’s athletic shoes or make a monetary contribution through unitedwaynci.org. Every dollar donated goes directly toward purchasing shoes for local kids in need—100% stays in your community.
Shoe distribution events are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, August 5 – Central Park, Charles City | 4:00 – 7:00 PM

Thursday, August 7 – Community Health Center, Mason City | 4:00 – 7:00 PM

Thursday, August 7 – Forest City YMCA | 4:00 – 6:00 PM
Important: Children must be present at the event to receive a pair of shoes.
Thanks to the generosity of local donors and volunteers, the Kicks for Kids initiative ensures children can walk into the school year with comfort, confidence, and a fresh start.
