Charles City Public Safety Director and Police Chief Hugh Anderson joined Community Conversations to talk about how drivers and officers are adjusting to Iowa’s new Hands-Free law, the police department’s role in responding to the recent downtown fire, and important reminders for keeping students safe as the school year begins. He also shared a lighter moment from his career involving unusual attempts to avoid a ticket.
