Fort Atkinson Rendezvous Days 2025 This Weekend (Sept 27-28)

The Fort Atkinson Preserve is ready for its 49th Rendezvous Days this Saturday (09.27) and Sunday (09.28).                                                                                                                 

Kay Schmitt with Rendezvous Days says the free event celebrates the 1840s military post in Fort Atkinson, about 15 miles southwest of Decorah.   

Attendees should also be ready for “the boom.”

Schmitt says attendees can also get a look at the latest renovations to the Fort complex, made possible by a $1 million Iowa DNR grant last year.
