Chickasaw County Public Health Offers October Flu Clinics

Chickasaw County Public Health is offering several flu clinics in October.

There is a CHILDREN’S FLU CLINIC for ages six months to 18-years-old from 2 to 5 pm Tuesday (10.07) at the Chickasaw County Community Services Building in New Hampton. Call for an appointment at 641-394-4053.

Public Health Administrator Lisa Welter says there are also three walk-in flu clinics this week for vaccinations for all ages.

Welter says getting vaccinated is good for you and those around you.

Welter adds that walk-ins are also welcome at the Public Health office. 

Insurance cards or payments are required at the time of vaccination.  Most insurance plans are accepted.  If insurance does not cover or there is no insurance to bill the cost is as follows:

High-Dose (age 65+): $65.00,

Flu Blok (age 18–64): $65.00,

Regular Flu (6 months and older): $40.00
