Charles City VFW to Host “Oktoberfest” Saturday (10.11)

The Charles City VFW will host its first-ever Oktoberfest this Saturday (10.11).

The VFW’s Patrick Lumley says, in addition to lots of food and drink, there’s also contests for cash prizes.

Registration begins at 1 pm Saturday, with competition starting at 3 pm.  

Lumley adds that there will also be raffles for prizes throughout the event, with proceeds going to help VFW veterans outreach programs.
