Democratic candidate for governor Rob Sand is in the final days of his annual 100-stop tour across Iowa, which included addressing a crowd of about 50 people Monday (10.20) at the Floyd County Fairgrounds.
Sand says he’s running to break down the walls that the Republican AND Democratic parties “want us to have between each other.”
Sand says he’s also ready to “flip some tables.”
Sand also hosted town halls Monday in Grundy Center, Allison, Mason City, Northwood and Osage.
On Tuesday, Sand is held similar events in Cresco, New Hampton, Waverly, and Waukon, with the Decorah native wrapping up the 100 town halls Tuesday night in Winneshiek County.
