Chickasaw County is going green for veterans.
Monday (11.03), the Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors approved a proclamation for the County’s participation in Operation Green Light for Veterans, which was proposed by Public Health Administrator Lisa Welter.
Welter says those resources include various help and crisis lines.
Welter says the public can also get in the spirit of honoring veterans.
Operation Green Light for Veterans is an initiative led by the National Association of Counties and comes in advance of Veterans Day next Tuesday (11.11).
