Area Schools Host Veteran Day Programs Tuesday (11.11)

Several area schools will host Veterans Day programs Tuesday (11.11).

Aubrey Michael with the Charles City FFA says doors will open at 9 am at the Middle School, with the program to begin at 10:15 am.

Michael says she’s excited to be part of planning an event she’s been a fan of since middle school.

The program will also be broadcast on KCHA and live streamed on www.kchanews.com 

Nashua-Plainfield FFA sponsors two Veterans Day recognitions, with the program at the elementary school at 8:35 am Tuesday exclusively for veterans and active duty military members. The Middle School/High School program at 10 am in the High School gym is open to the public and features LTC Jeff Pratt as the guest speaker.

Central Springs will host a welcome breakfast for veterans at 8:30 am followed by an assembly at 9 on the Manly Campus. There is also Veterans Day assembly at 9 am on the Nora Springs Campus

The Osage High School Class of 2026 presents the Veterans Day program in the Big Gym at 10 am Tuesday.

Veterans Day programs are also set for 10 am Tuesday in Rockford at the Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock High School Main Gym and at 2 pm Tuesday at the Turkey Valley High School Gym.
