Charles City School Board Monday (11.10) Night Agenda Includes Discussion of Bond Results

The Charles City School Board will meet in regular session Monday (11.10) night, for the first time since a $30 million bond referendum to make improvements and renovations to the High School failed to pass.
Last Tuesday’s (11.04) vote resulted in defeat of the measure, with 54% of the votes NO to 46% YES. Thus, it’s back to the drawing board as the district ponders how to address needed upgrades to a building that is over 65 years old.
On their 5:30 pm agenda for Monday night’s meeting is Discussion of Bond Results. The public is welcome to provide its feedback, with public comments limited to two minutes. Those who wish to comment are asked to sign in first.
The meeting will be held in the High School Library.
