It’s American Education Week.
Jenny Adam, fifth through eighth grade band director for the New Hampton School District, says school support staff are being saluted Wednesday (11.19).
Teachers will be saluted on Thursday (11.21), with substitute teachers and students recognized on Friday (11.22).
Earlier this week, school board members were saluted on Monday (11.17), followed by the superintendent and school principals on Tuesday (11.18)
The theme for American Education Week is “Together for Safe, Just, & Equitable Schools.”
