Edna Carol Ann Shinstine, 93 of New Hampton

Edna Carol Ann Shinstine age 93 of New Hampton, IA died Monday, November 24, 2025, at Accura HealthCare of New Hampton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025, at Holy Family Parish, New Hampton with Rev. Chris Podjahsky celebrating the Mass.

Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Hampton, with grandsons Randy Shinstine, Jeremy Bohr, Scott Shinstine, Matthew Brincks, Adam Brincks, Michael Brincks, Kenny Kirkvold, and Nicholas Shinstine serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Edna’s sixteen granddaughters.

Friends are invited to greet the family from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Hugeback – Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton where there will be a 3:00 p.m. Rosary and a 7:00 p.m. parish scripture service.

He lives in Charles City with his endlessly patient wife Vicki and their kids, Brynlee and Jaxon, who have already perfected the art of the eye‑roll every time Dad cracks another “dad joke.”
