Charles City Rotary Radio Auction Goes Over $100,000 Raised

The Charles City Rotary Radio Auction has surpassed over $100,000 raised in support of local Rotary projects, scholarships and other non-profit groups.
The 16th Rotary Radio Auction was conducted live on 95.9 KCHA Saturday (02.07) morning. Coordinator and Rotarian Tammy Elthon has announced this latest edition of the event raised $8,000.
This year, half of that $8,000 goes to TLC: The Learning Center, where Board President Danielle Ellingson says they could use more staff to provide child care service.
Elthon notes this is the second time TLC has been the beneficiary of the Rotary Radio Auction.
As partner recipient of the event, TLC helped secure the 109 items that were up for bid on Saturday.
While this year’s total didn’t reach the record level of over $8,700 raised during the 15th Rotary Radio Auction of 2025, it brings the total money raised by the event to over $103,000.
