Gala, a friendly orange-and-brown tabby, is this week’s PAWS Pet of the Week. PAWS Humane Society Assistant Director Jacie Peichel stopped by to introduce Gala — the mother of the recently adopted “apple kittens” — who is now looking for her own forever home. Jacie shares what makes Gala such a sweet companion, details on weekend adoption hours in Charles City, upcoming fundraising events, and current shelter supply needs. She also previews two dogs that will soon be ready for adoption.
