Charles City Community Schools Superintendent Brian Burnight joined KCHA News Director Mark Pitz to outline the district’s plan to move forward with $4 million in improvements at Charles City High School. The discussion covers what projects could begin this summer, why HVAC and fire system upgrades are priorities, how SAVE (1¢ sales tax) funds are being used, and how potential state legislation could impact future school funding. Burnight also touches on parent-teacher conferences and recent student accomplishments.
