It’s “Take 2” this weekend for Winter Fun Day with Chickasaw County Conservation.
The event was originally scheduled for January 24th, but with a blast of arctic air in the forecast leading up to that day, it was postponed to this Saturday (02.28). A good call considering the high temperature in the New Hampton area January 24th was minus-11.
Fast forward and Conservation Naturalist Matt Crayne says they’re ready for free snow and ice fun at Twin Ponds, Airport Lake and Ringneck Haven, with registration starting at 8 am Saturday.
